Our Story
Located 26 miles of the coast of Los Angeles, Catalina Island is often called "California's Gem." Our Mediterranean climate, 90% protected wilderness and clear-water beaches are a backdrop to Avalon's historic architecture and nostalgic charm. For nearly 70 years, Avalon Beautiful has worked to enhance the community we all love so much.
Making a Difference
Over the last few years we've expanded our membership and are jumping back into making a real difference with improvement projects, community events, restoration efforts, local awards and partnering with other service organizations in town.
